Pro Evolution 2 is the best football game out there at the moment. Although the Fifa series has been the most successful (and i did use to love there old games like Fifa 95, but not the new stuff), it has not been the best, It has (in my most humble opinion) been relying on its name to sell, becuase, quite frankly, it wont sell any other way!

PES2 is a fantastic football game, with many functions, although you cant do the skill like you can in Fifa, the games realism (Which Fifa misses out on) is supurb and you can score goals like professionals and make them look awesome! Not just shot and it goes into the top corner. (Great(!))

PES2 has many options, like normal friendly, International League, Cups, Master League, Training and Edits. The difference in this game to the old ones (like ISS for the N64) you can have normal teams (like Newcastle for example) as well as international teams. In friendly, you play a game with whoever you want against whoever you want. In International League, you just play a league with a National team (includes unlocked ones). There are lots of Cups, like international cup, European Cup, African Cup etc, and you have to win 'em all. Not thats its hard though, just keep the difficulty down. The Master league is the biggest and best thing about this game. You start as any club team you want, and start with a load of crummy people, but you can work your way up, make transers, sell people, and win trophies and shit. Its pretty time consuming though, you have to win every league (there are three of them) before you can win the last trophy! How pissy is that!!!!! Also, there is an edit mode, where you can create new players and even give them there own commentary name! But only when you do create your own player, not when you edit an exsiting one, but, a disadvantage to creating a new player is that he HAS to play for an international team, he cant play for a club team.

Other then that the game is highly playable with high replayabillity, it is very recommended by me to be the best football game that is out there at the moment. (until Pro Evolution Soccer 3, of course!)
