Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven
|
Well here we are again with another review. This time it is Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, which is a pretty cool game until you get to the point of no return. The game starts of lovely, you are a stealth assasin trying to kill people for your leader (to tell the truth I played it hated it and didn't play it again so I don't really know to much) for some unknown reason. However as I know little about the game I won't do much description, I will mainly do my view.
The game is based apon being an assasin for a man who I think has some "business" with someone else. It starts of with you attacking some people in a village and trying to find there leader and kill him. As you have most probably guessed by now there is a lot of killing in this game, which is generally a good thing. You can chose between two cahracters in the game, the names I can't remember, they were weird japanese names; what I do know is that there is a woman and a man, the woman has twin daggers and the man has a sword. I havent actually seen a difference between the two but I am sure there is one, they both can do stealth attacks, where you sneak up behind an enemy and kill them in a cool way and get something which helps you towards getting a new move; I think you need like 8-12 of these things when you kill an enemy to get a new move.
there is also a multiplayer mode for people who like to kill there friends, :D, like me. the multiplayer part is most probably the funnest part of the entire game, although you need to play the main game to unlock features in the multiplayer part; which is annoying. Multiplayer is like singleplayer though except there is no boss (unless you count the other player as a boss) and you fight against your friend, which i think makes the multiplayer pretty damn cool.
My view on the game, well, i think it is a really good game that I couldn't get to grips with unfortunatly, although I do like the multiplayer mode, (I think a singleplayer skirmish would've been good, then I would be addicted to the game) I can't stand the singleplayer mode, it sucks. Although this is a very negetive review for the game I give it.
